i bring a lot to the table

Pull up a chair…

For the past 20 years, I’ve held marketing and communications roles in a combination of corporate, government, not-for-profit and agency settings. This means I can write about practically anything — from software and health policy to laser hair removal and philanthropy. I also have the ability to make others’ words read more effectively and efficiently, as editing is another one of my jams.

Now 47, with sufficiently seasoned expertise under my belt, I’m keen to find work that will allow me to write about the things I care about most:

  • Arts and culture

  • Homelessness and affordable housing

  • Architecture and design

  • Urban planning and community building

  • Community health

According to one of my previous employers, "Sarah is an intelligent and creative writer with a unique ability to write powerful and compelling marketing content across a range of mediums."

My versatility and adaptability has been a solid advantage over the years. But life is short, and I want to work on subjects that are meaningful to me. I also have a great appreciation for strategic thinking and strong design, and wish to work in creative and collaborative settings that enjoy challenging the status quo.

Think we’d work well together? Let’s do it.

And by all means, check out my resume.
